2 Agosto 2007 Programma del 1° Guarnati Day che si terrà in Bardolino l'8 e 9 Settembre 2007     „GUARNATI DAY“ Bardolino 8th /9th September 2007 The associations „Benaco Auto Classiche“ and „Il Legno sull’acqua“ in collaboration with the community of Bardolino are organising two special days which are dedicated to the antique boats and especially to the dockyard Guarnati. This dockyard has operated in Bardolino from the thirties until the seventies. All kind of wooden boats are allowed to participate at the meeting . P R O G R A M M E Saturday, 8th September - Boat exhibition and historical records at the Piazza La Preonda near the port of Bardolino - Navigation from Bardolino to Torri del Benaco, stop and aperitif at the S. Vigilio Point - Informal dinner in a historical residence in Bardolino Sunday, 9th September - Trip to Salò, stop and buffet in the dockyard Arcangeli; you should look at the performance of the old “racers” in the bay of Salò in memory of the Cup „Coppa dell’Oltranza“. By this occasion a „ Historical register of the dockyard Guarnati“ will be created to count all the boats built by this dockyard and to transmit the tradition.
